PHYSCON 2026 is an innovative and exciting hybrid professional development event for secondary school Physics teachers featuring

  • live-streamed keynote addresses on critical current issues. Prof Mehdi Seyedmahmoudian, Director of the Siemens Swinburne Energy Transition Hub at Swinburne University of Technology, on the future of photovoltaics and energy sustainability. The opening address will be by Prof Christopher Fluke , Director of Swinburne University’s Advanced Visualisation Laboratory on Challenges and opportunities posed by AI in Physics.

*VCAA has asked assessors not to present examination reports or ‘meet the assessor’ style sessions at subject association events. The review at this conference will be presented by an experienced person who is familiar with the exam process but is not involved with the Nov 2025 exam paper.
