The AIP has written to the CEO of the Australian Research Council, Prof. Ute Roessner, requesting that researchers affected by uncertainty around the ARC Future Fellowships transition be granted an additional opportunity to apply for the FT27 round. Member feedback has consistently highlighted that many applicants exhausted their submission limits after applying earlier than planned due to expectations that FT26 would be the final round.
